| Description |

Blundells Hill Farm was a working farm until the early eighties. The current owners bought the property in 1987 and set about modernising and extending the original house, which was built in 1727.
The work involved virtually demolishing the old house (only two exterior walls remain) and building a brick building which was cement rendered to maintain the look of the original house.
The house was designed and built to a style, which was intended to create a traditional cosy, and warm home. Although the rooms are larger than one would expect to find in a traditional farmhouse this effect has been achieved.
The property comprises of five bedrooms with three bathrooms, the master bedroom being en-suite with a Jacuzzi bath and separate electric shower.
The house is entered through the original front door, which opens, into a large entrance hall, which has been opened up to the first floor and has a balcony with bedrooms leading off.
The ground floor has a large split level L-shaped lounge with a bar area and large open fire.
There are two rooms, which are currently used as His and Her Studies. A large dining room with French windows overlooks the garden, The kitchen runs the width of the house with windows overlooking both the garden and courtyard, this room has a “Saharan Slate” floor and French farmhouse style solid oak units.
Finally a large utility room with W.C. containing all the equipment needed to maintain a large household sits at the end of the house with separate entrance to courtyard.
The property is set in approx 5.5 acres of gardens and paddocks with four stables, a stone barn with self contained staff accommodation above and various out buildings and sheds.
