- We do not recommend you buy the house just from seeing the virtual tours that we supply.
These are simply meant as a guide. If you are interested in the house after viewing the tour,
make an appointment to view it. Contact details are supplied with the house description.
- Before making any arrangements to put an offer on a property we recommend that you
check asking prices and contract agreements with the estate agent as we can not guarantee that
all the information is correct, and before driving to view a property you should check availability
with the owner or estate agent.
- Prior to viewing the property, drive round the area, and get familiar with the local
facilities and make sure that you are happy with the location as well as the house. If you
are unsure you can always ask the owner, they should be very familiar with the area.
- When viewing the property have a good look round, first impressions can be deceiving.
If the house is unoccupied check thoroughly, this includes behind cupboards and anything that
may be placed in a position to hide things you weren’t meant to see. Also check along the bottom
of walls for damp.
- Make notes of things to check for so that you don’t forget once you are viewing the
property.
- If you are viewing a number of properties, take notes in each one so that you can
refer back to them. After a while you may forget something that proves to be important in your
decision.
- Check prices of similar properties in the area so that you have a good idea of price
and what you should be getting for the money you’re spending.
- If you can’t find what you are looking for, ask an estate agent. They will contact
you every time something becomes available that matches your criteria.
